![]() ![]() =[ Used to be people could share seed names for bunker locations and such. Does this spawn new traders or just let you know where they all are? Also I tried deleting a save and then making the same name over again. Thats a neat cheat but I'm sure Id find a way to screw that up somehow lol. When quest #8 pops up (sending you to the trader) you will get the closest trader. Make sure when you get to quest #7 that you are very far from where the first trader is (kilometers away) then finish quest 7. Then make the game again, new with the same seed/name. Find the folder for the world you want to find other traders in and move it to your Documents folder (or somewhere you know you'll find it again). Go into the Saves folder (on my computer it is in: C:\Users\owner\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\Saves). If you altered the folder name, restore the folder name to its original. When you have found as many traders as you want, return the first (or whichever one you most want) world-save-folder to the 7DaysToDie\Saves folder where you got it from. ![]() Obviously if you choose to save the new version rather than just deleting it, the various world-save-folders will need to have their names modified to keep track of them. ![]() Repeat as many times as you can stand to find the traders but now just deleting the world-save-folder from the 7DaysToDie\Saves folder. This is my opinion and i am sure others will chime in soon, and call this all hog wash lol.I was trying an experiment for something else and accidentally figured out a way to find other traders but it takes a little work. This system will drastically change the way players craft equipment of all kinds. Probably the most obvious change coming in Alpha 21 is the introduction of a new crafting skill system. However at this point, finding players could be difficult right now. However, this reduces the overall immersion factor and the usefulness of smelting glass. there is lag yes but it is minimal if your host can handle that type of load. This is with 200+ zombies and a 8k map with 25 players connected at the same time. I have seen 7dtd use as much as 65% cou on a ryzen 5800X and anywhere from 8-25Gb ram and at least 2-5 MBPS of network. Just keep in mind the more players that you want to host the more power you will need in terms of hosting specs. Just restart the server often every 4-8 hours making sure you manually save it before each restart. ![]() So, if you have 8GB ram a hdd and that 1 gbps network, you will run just fine. I can only speak from what i have done myself over the last 8 years, and i am obsessed with high quality and high speed. Keeping in mind your home network and all devices are gonna cause issues the more that are connected.įrom my personal experience over the years,ħ days to die will punish everything you use a lot the more players that connect at the same time.Ī high speed cpu in the 4.0 -5.0 ghz range helps when used with NVME and a 1 GBPS network.ĭDR 3 ram is fine but like in everything newer is better. IF you want above 20+ players that network speed is whats gonna help a lot. If you do 8 players as recommended, any set up will do. HDD is ok but ssd or as i do it NVME is best.Īlso depends if your running linux or windows.ġ6 - 20 players if the best you can expect with minimal lag for everyone, with the highest pinging player dragging the entire server down. i found 7dtd needs a fast network if you want to do more intense stuff like mega zombies.Ĥ cores helps a lot but 2 will do for a basic server. The connection you have is gonna help alot. 32Gb is overkill unless you plan on running multiple servers and maps larger then 8K. The maximum ram you will need is about 16Gb ram. ![]()
